News: Our distro at the punk rock show!
Stoked to announce that we’ll be taking our distro with us at the Teenage Bottlerocket and Masked Intruder show in Drachten (The Netherlands) on May 3rd! Could you imagine a better Groezrock afterparty? And to make it even better our own Hoist The Colours have the honor of opening this show! News: Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas and a happy new year from Morning Wood Records and the bands! The records in the picture are the great things we’ve released in 2014, and we’ll be releasing a lot more stuff in the future! Next year there will be more bands signed to the label, more albums coming out and some exciting news we can’t announce yet! We’re really stoked about all of this and hope you’re too. It was a good first “official” year, and I have a feeling it’s just getting better and better.

News: Having A Full English out… a couple of days now
We we’re so annihilated from the Hoist The Colours release show last Saturday that we’ve been incapable to post something about it for over four days. Damn! Anyway, enough about that, let’s focus on the brand new Hoist The Colours / ASBO Peepshow split CD that goes under the name “Having A Full English”. You can now stream, download and purchase the record for a punk rock price of only €4,99. Because that’s how we roll.

News: A new track from Hoist The Colours!
Hoist The Colours have released a new track called ‘Mullet (For My Valentine)’ today! The track will be featured on their upcoming split CD with UK punk rockers ASBO Peepshow. You can listen to the brand new song on our Bandcamp page. Stupid jokes, fat bellies and 90’s punk rock. Does it get any better than that?
The split CD is titled “Having a full English” and will be coming on October 25th exclusively on Morning Wood Records! In support of the release Hoist The Colours will be playing a release show at Simplon in their hometown of Groningen (NL). Also on the bill are Dowzer and fellow Morning Wood colleagues Shit Hits The Fan and RunningLate. You can find more info about that show right over here.
News: Online Sampler ’14 released!
Now all the songs are polished and the artwork is made perfect, we’ve finally released our Online Sampler ’14. This thirteen track compilation album features punk rock bands from all over the world and is only available digitally.
The sampler can be listened and downloaded for free at our Bandcamp page. And as a matter of fact: it also features two brand new songs from our own Shit Hits The Fan and 10 To Go! Be sure to check it out!
