News: RunningLate’s “Spectators” EP released!
The new EP “Spectators” by RunningLate is out today! About time if you ask me. You can order the three track EP at the Morning Wood Records store and stream and download it on Spotify, iTunes, Deezer, Xbox Live and almost everywhere else. At the store you can also pick up a €4,99 combo deal which will get you “Spectators” and RunningLate’s 2013 EP “Catching Up” for a very punk rock price!
… and we know it’s hard to remember all the details of a band, so here’s some background information to freshen things up a little bit: “The guys in RunningLate hail from Zwolle, The Netherlands and formed the band in 2009. Their 90’s and early 00’s melodic punk rock style can be compared to bands such as No Use For A Name, Much The Same, 88 Fingers Louie and the early work of Rise Against.“
News: Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas and a happy new year from Morning Wood Records and the bands! The records in the picture are the great things we’ve released in 2014, and we’ll be releasing a lot more stuff in the future! Next year there will be more bands signed to the label, more albums coming out and some exciting news we can’t announce yet! We’re really stoked about all of this and hope you’re too. It was a good first “official” year, and I have a feeling it’s just getting better and better.

News: New track by RunningLate!
We’re stoked to announce that we’ll be releasing the new three track EP “Spectators” by RunningLate on January 5th! “Spectators” will be coming out digitally and on CD on January 5th. Pre-orders are popping up in the store in a couple of weeks from now! And to get you guys even more in the RunningLate mood, we’ll also be digitally releasing their 2013 EP “Catching Up”. The EP is also available on CD and they are almost completely sold out, but we’ll be selling the last ones in the Morning Wood Records store soon. A better way to start the new year? I think not.
News: A new track from Hoist The Colours!
Hoist The Colours have released a new track called ‘Mullet (For My Valentine)’ today! The track will be featured on their upcoming split CD with UK punk rockers ASBO Peepshow. You can listen to the brand new song on our Bandcamp page. Stupid jokes, fat bellies and 90’s punk rock. Does it get any better than that?
The split CD is titled “Having a full English” and will be coming on October 25th exclusively on Morning Wood Records! In support of the release Hoist The Colours will be playing a release show at Simplon in their hometown of Groningen (NL). Also on the bill are Dowzer and fellow Morning Wood colleagues Shit Hits The Fan and RunningLate. You can find more info about that show right over here.
