News: Leftovers’ new EP to be released September 15th!
Great news, kids! Leftovers‘ new EP “This Time Tomorrow” will be coming out on September 15th through Morning Wood Records! Besides that we’ll also be re-releasing their 2014 EP “Dumber” then, so feel free to order not ONE but TWO EPs from our Italian friends!
News: Leftovers join Morning Wood Records!
And yet another Italian band has been signed to our label! We’re stoked to announce that our spaghetti-eating friends in Leftovers have joined Morning Wood Records and that we’ll be releasing their upcoming EP! The band is known for their dumb, melody driven pop/skatepunk that will remind you of your high school days and a time when life still made sense.
In 2014 Leftovers released their impressing second EP called “Dumber”, which you can check out while they’re working on new music. More info coming soon!
News: Dearly Divided’s self titled debut album out now!
Today we officially release “Dearly Divided” by the Californian punk rock band Dearly Divided! An amazing 90’s punk rock record that is filled with mid thirties angst and more hot licks than it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop. The album was recorded in early 2014 at NuTone Studios with Ben & Scott (Green Day, Against Me!, Stickup Kid) and mixed and mastered by Sir Michael Rosen (Rancid, AFI, Less Than Jake). “Dearly Divided” is being released by the band’s own record label 45th Parallel Records in the United States and by Morning Wood Records in Europe. News: New logo, new stickers
We have a new logo, so we also have new stickers to give away! They come for free with every order at the webstore and our Discogs profile, where you can find our entire distro. And last but not least we’re trying to deliver the stickers to the bands signed to Morning Wood Records, so keep your eyes peeled when you’re at a show!
News: Straightline – “Final Redemption” out now!
“Final Redemption” by Straightline is out now on Morning Wood Records! The album was originally released on vinyl in 2013 and is now out on CD for the first time exclusively through our cute little record label. You can order the CD for only €4,99 at our webshop!
Straightline are known for their shredding, metal influenced skatepunk and have been around since 1998. In support of the release the band will go on a Japan tour from February 16 to 21. Besides that Straightline have also been booked to play at this years Punk Rock Holiday festival in Tolmin, Slovenia. And to make this year to become an even more succes, they are nominated to play at the Macbeth stage at this year’s Groezrock festival in Belgium! Straightline can play the festival when they’ve reached the top 10 by voting for them, and you know this band deserves it!
