It’s showtime people! Here at the Morning Wood Records headquarters we think a decent punk rock show is all you need to improve the quality of life. We got three Dutch shows coming up in December featuring a handful of bands from our label. News: A new track from Hoist The Colours!
Hoist The Colours have released a new track called ‘Mullet (For My Valentine)’ today! The track will be featured on their upcoming split CD with UK punk rockers ASBO Peepshow. You can listen to the brand new song on our Bandcamp page. Stupid jokes, fat bellies and 90’s punk rock. Does it get any better than that?
The split CD is titled “Having a full English” and will be coming on October 25th exclusively on Morning Wood Records! In support of the release Hoist The Colours will be playing a release show at Simplon in their hometown of Groningen (NL). Also on the bill are Dowzer and fellow Morning Wood colleagues Shit Hits The Fan and RunningLate. You can find more info about that show right over here.
News: 95-C tour Europe and post new songs
95-C, your favorite punk rock band from Chamonix, France are releasing their upcoming album ‘Homeward Bound’ next month. The band told us that there is some delay at the factory, so it’s not certain yet when you can order a copy from the Morning Wood Records store. Don’t worry, we’ll keep you updated!
Besides that, 95-C also posted two songs from ‘Homeward Bound’, which can be listened at the band’s Bandcamp page. But the fun isn’t over yet! In support of the release they will do an European tour from September 5th to September 20th. Check them out when the fine lads cross your hometown!
The Dutch release show of ‘Homeward Bound’ is at Café Mukkes, Leeuwarden on September 15th, along with fellow labelmates Shit Hits The Fan, 10 To Go and Suburgent. The latter band will be playing their first show this evening!
News: The First And Worst Record goes digital
From now on Shit Hits The Fan‘s album ‘The First And Worst Record’ can be streamed and downloaded about everywhere! Physical copies of the album were released in September of last year, but now you can also listen to the record on streaming services like Spotify, Deezer and even on Xbox Music. You can also download it on iTunes, Amazon MP3, Google Music and many more sites. Enjoy ‘The First And Worst Record’ whenever you want, wherever you want!

Alright! Something awesome is about to happen in the Dutch city of Leeuwarden. 95-C will be playing at De Mukkes with fellow Morning Wood Records bands Shit Hits The Fan, 10 To Go and our latest asset, Suburgent (Facebook page to come) on September 15th!
95-C are currently recording their upcoming full-length ‘Homeward Bound’ and will release it on Morning Wood Records this summer/fall. This show kind of serves as a release party. And yes, it’s on a Monday evening, but what the fuck right? Just live like there’s no tomorrow!
